Volumetric Mixer Certification Program
The Volumetric Mixer Operator Certification program consists of 4 in-depth topics. The course content is based on a nationally agreed upon standard of knowledge and skills every professional Volumetric Mixer Operator should know. At the end of each section, there is a short quiz that is designed to ensure that you have an understanding of the material presented.
The four (4) areas covered in the program are:
- Section I – "Safety"
- Section II – "Concrete Technology"
- Section III – "Volumetric Operation and Maintenance"
- Section IV – "Customer and Company Relations"
Volumetric Mixer Certification Requirements
Volumetric Mixer Operator Certification (VMOC) qualifications:
- Have 3 months of documented on-the-job experience
- Complete the VMOC training program
- Pass the VMOC exam

Exam Information
The VMOC exam is closed-book and consists of 65 multiple-choice questions. One hour and 45 minutes (1:45) is given to take the exam.
The exam must be given by a Proctor. The Proctor must be a company official, certified teacher, professional engineer, or a college professor.
Results are mailed two (2) to three (3) weeks from the day/date the exams are received.

To order materials please complete the Materials Order Form below and return it with your payment to NRMCA’s Learning & Development Department via email. Materials must be paid for in advance and are shipped once payment is received.
VMMB Associate Members receive $100 off the total price, per operator certification.
